Einstein Tower (Potsdam, 1921) — an Expressionist astrophysics observatory in poured concrete. Schocken department stores (Stuttgart, Chemnitz). Forced into exile by the Nazis in 1933, he later settled in Palestine and the US, where he designed the Maimonides Hospital (San Francisco, 1950).
