Apprenticed under Kenzō Tange. Tsukuba Center (1983), MOCA Los Angeles (1986), Palau Sant Jordi (Barcelona Olympics, 1990), Qatar National Convention Centre (2011), Allianz Tower Milan (2015).

Chameleonic — Isozaki refused to have a single style. His 1980s phase was overtly postmodern; later work moved toward a more abstract, sculptural geometry.
