Richard Meier

American architect whose all-white, rationalist work — the High Museum (Atlanta, 1983), the Getty Center (Los Angeles, 1997), the Jubilee Church (Rome, 2003) — sustained the Le Corbusian villa-modernism of the 1920s into the late twentieth century.

Pritzker laureate 1984. Stepped back from the firm in 2018 following sexual-harassment allegations.
